We are delighted to announce that United has retained it’s status as an Investors in People (IIP) accredited business, representing eight years of continuous improvement and putting its employees first.
Following a detailed assessment process conducted in October, the independent accrediting body concluded that United would retain its Investors in People ‘Standard Award’ with a positive set of feedback.
The assessment outlined a number of key strengths within the business that consistently make it a great place to work, including; friendliness of staff, a trusting and supportive management team, a fast paced working environment and it’s culture of innovation.
John Smith, United’s Director of Service said of the award:
“We’re extremely pleased to have once again improved our Investors in People status and plan to continue building on the business’s success, both for our employee’s wellbeing and our client’s satisfaction. We firmly believe that our employee first approach is what makes us tick and are ensuring that this is a long term area for development at United”
The company plans to act on the suggestions for improvement outlined in the assessment report as well as consistently investing in new talent.
This achievement comes at an exciting time for the business, having invested significantly in growing their service offering over recent years. From its conception in 2009, United has developed significantly – from providing general office supplies and stationery, to offering a comprehensive managed solution to businesses of all sizes.
United now boasts a range of services including interior office design, brand management, sourcing of specialist supplies for catering and healthcare and ‘Vantage’ – an innovative cost reduction service.
The development of these services, and United’s subsequent growth, is directly attributed to it’s people. With added confidence from this award, the future looks bright for United!United ‘putting employees first’ with best Investors in People assessment yet
